Proleek Dolmen is a massive structure, located in the middle of a golf
course near Ballymascanlan on the Cooley Peninsula in County Louth. Ballymascanlan
is just east of Dundalk on the eastern coast of Ireland. The Capstone on Proleek Dolmen,
known as The Giants Load, weighs somewhere around 40
tons and it site about 7-8 feet in the air. We had to find our way through a golf course maze to find
Proleek Dolmen. Eventually we found it on the back half of the course. No way did I expect to see something
this big.
