| This is not what you think it is. It is a pile of peat which in Ireland is used for buring and heating. It has what I think is an awesome smell to it. Peat is created when the marshy soil in the bog areas has been compressed over thousands of years to form a hard substance, sort of like coal. In the bog areas of Ireland you can see peat being cut from knive like objects to heavy pieces of machinery that can cut large amounts at once. Peat is pretty sweet. | |
